Both superior-quality and super-lightweight, the Alta Violin is designed for playing comfort with an elegantly simple design.
Our notion of simple, effective design is carried through in the formulation of the pickup system. The new FLOATING BRIDGE technology, designed by G. Edward Lutherie, allows the bridge to move in the same way as an acoustic violin. This bridge movement is critical for full-range tonal production. And because the bridge floats, it is decoupled from the top, virtually eliminating feedback. Amplifier not included.
